On 18 November 2003, the President of the Economic and Social Council and the Chairman of the Ad Hoc Advisory Group were invited to address the Security Council at a private meeting on the situation in Guinea-Bissau and to present the work carried out by those bodies on development support to the country.

El 18 de noviembre de 2003, se invitó al Presidente del Consejo Económico y Social y al Presidente del Grupo Consultivo Especial a hacer uso de la palabra ante el Consejo de Seguridad en una reunión privada sobre la situación en Guinea-Bissau y a presentar la labor llevada a cabo por esos órganos en relación con el apoyo al desarrollo del país.
