Under this programme 75% of the cost of the project is provided as grant from the Town and Country Planning Development Fund for implementation of traffic improvement projects subject to a maximum of Rs.1.00 crore for each municipal corporation (except Chennai) and Rs.50.00 Lakh for each municipality and the remaining 25% of the cost of the project shall be borne by the local body from its own source.

போக்குவரத்து மேம்பாட்டுத் திட்டங்களைச் செயல்படுத்த, திட்ட மதிப்பீட்டில் 75 விழுக்காடு நகர் ஊரமைப்பு வளர்ச்சி நிதியிலிருந்து ஒவ்வொரு மாநகராட்சிக்கும் (சென்னை தவிர) அதிகபட்சமாக ரூபாய் ஒரு கோடி, ஒவ்வொரு நகராட்சிக்கும் அதிகபட்சமாக 50.00 லட்சம் என்ற வரையறைக்குட்பட்டு மானியமாகவும், மீதமுள்ள 25 விழுக்காடு உள்ளாட்சியின் சொந்த நிதியிலிருந்து அதன் பங்காகவும் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளப்படுகிறது.
