We agreed on the price right away, and the woman picked up a key and took me to my room. She opened the door and I saw the furniture. It was old of course, but I was surprised to see that it was covered with newspapers. All except a rocking chair next to the bay window.

Acordamos rápidamente el precio, descolgó las llaves y me condujo a mi habitación. Abrió la puerta, y vi los muebles. No me sorprendió que fueran viejos, pero sí que todos ellos estuvieran cubiertos con amarillentas hojas de periódico. Todos, salvo una mecedora situada frente a la galería acristalada.
