وتتولى الوحدتان معالجة الرسائل الواردة من البعثات، ومن إدارة عمليات حفظ السلام، وشعبة الإدارة الميدانية والسوقيات، ومن الأطراف الأخرى المهتمة بسياسات المرتبات والبدلات، والاستثناءات الفردية من الأحكام النافذة، واستعراض تصنيف مراكز العمل وفقا للأحوال المعيشية والعمل والتنقل وبدل المشقة وغير ذلك من المسائل المتصلة بمجموعة العناصر المكونة للأجر التي تنطبق على موظفي البعثات.

The Units handle correspondence from the missions, the Department of Peacekeeping Operations and the Field Administration and Logistics Division and other interested parties on salary and allowance policies, individual exceptions to established provisions, review of classification of duty stations according to conditions of life and work, mobility and hardship allowance and other matters related to the remuneration package applicable to mission personnel.

Las Dependencias se ocupan de dar curso a la correspondencia proveniente de las misiones, la División de Administración y Logística de Actividades sobre el Terreno del Departamento de Operaciones de Mantenimiento de la Paz y de otras partes interesadas sobre las normas en materia de sueldos y prestaciones, distintas excepciones a las disposiciones establecidas, el examen de la clasificación de los lugares de destino según las condiciones de vida y trabajo, la prestación por movilidad y condiciones de trabajo difíciles y otros asuntos relacionados con el régimen de remuneración aplicable al personal de las misiones.
