On 28 June 2011, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Aerospace Force, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, announced on Iranian State television that, on the second day of the exercise, the country had fired Zelzal rockets, the Shahab-1 and -2 and the Ghadr (a modified version of the Shahab-3 medium-range ballistic missile).
