The International Bridge (1873), built by the GRAND TRUNK RAILWAY and the first to cross the river at this point, was followed by the Peace Bridge (1927), which soars across the river to make the town one of the busiest border crossings between Canada and the US.

Le Pont International, construit en 1873 par le Canadien National, est le premier à franchir la rivière. Suit ensuite le Pont de la paix (1927) qui s'élève au-dessus de la rivière et fait de Fort Erie l'un des passages frontaliers les plus achalandés entre les deux pays.
