ويشير الأمين العام في الفقرة 34-10 من الإضافة لتقريره (المرجع نفسه) إلى أنه نظرا للمسؤولية المزدوجة التي تضطلع بها الإدارة فيما يتصل بتوفير السلامة والأمن للموظفين والوفود والزوار في المواقع الرئيسية للأمم المتحدة، من جهة، وتوفير السلامة والأمن لعمليات منظومة الأمم المتحدة في الميدان، من جهة أخرى، تمول أنشطة الإدارة من الميزانية العادية وعلى أساس تقاسم التكاليف مع المنظمات الأخرى التي يشملها نظام إدارة الأمن في الميدان.

In paragraph 34.10 of the addendum to his report (ibid.), the Secretary-General indicates that, given the dual responsibility of the Department to provide, on the one hand, for the safety and security of staff, delegates and visitors at the main locations of the United Nations and, on the other hand, for the safety and security of the United Nations system operations in the field, the Department’s activities are financed both from the regular budget and on a cost-sharing basis with other organizations covered by the security management system in the field.

Au paragraphe 34.10 de l’additif à son rapport (ibid.), le Secrétaire général indique que, le Département étant responsable, d’une part, de la sûreté et de la sécurité du personnel, des délégués et des visiteurs dans les principaux lieux d’affectation et, d’autre part, de la sûreté et de la sécurité des opérations des Nations Unies sur le terrain, ses activités sont financées à la fois par le budget ordinaire et par une participation des organismes couverts par le système de gestion de la sécurité.

В пункте 34.10 дополнения к своему докладу (там же) Генеральный секретарь указывает на то, что с учетом двойной ответственности Департамента за обеспечение, с одной стороны, охраны и безопасности персонала, членов делегаций и посетителей в основных местах расположения подразделений Организации Объединенных Наций и, с другой стороны, за обеспечение охраны и безопасности операций системы Организации Объединенных Наций на местах деятельность Департамента финансируется как из регулярного бюджета, так и на основе совместного несения расходов с участием других организаций, охватываемых системой обеспечения безопасности на местах.
