At the neckline I basted an interlining piece of heavy linen, a bit wider than the fur edging on top of it would be. The linen was cut on the opposite direction than the wool, so that it would have straight grain on the bias edge of the v-shaped back neckline. At the top of the center back seam I basted the interlining pieces after closing the seam to cross it.

Pääntielle harsin turkisreunusta leveämmän tukikankaan jämäkästä pellavasta, joka oli takakappaleen v-pääntiellä leikattu suoraan vinon kangasreunan vahvistukseksi. Jätin v-pääntien keskellä tukikankaat vähän matkaa irti, ja suljettuani keskitakasauman harsin ne kulkemaan sauman yli.
