Ich war Aktivist der Partei „Arbeit und soziale Gerechtigkeit – die Wahlalternative” (WASG), die zusammen mit der Linkspartei.PDS Mitte Juni 2007 eine neue gesamtdeutsche Partei – DIE LINKE. – gebildet hat. Anfang September 2007 löste Linksruck, die deutsche Organisation der IST, sich als Mitgliederorganisation auf – ehemalige Mitglieder von Linksruck organisieren sich in der parteiinternen Strömung Sozialistische Linke und veröffentlichen die Zeitschrift Marx21.
