Οι χρηματοπιστωτικές συναλλαγές καταγράφονται με τις αξίες συναλλαγής, δηλαδή τις αξίες σε εθνικό νόμισμα με τις οποίες τα σχετικά χρηματοπιστωτικά περιουσιακά στοιχεία ή/και υποχρεώσεις δημιουργούνται, ρευστοποιούνται, ανταλλάσσονται ή αναλαμβάνονται μεταξύ θεσμικών μονάδων, ή μεταξύ των θεσμικών μονάδων και της αλλοδαπής, βάσει αποκλειστικά εμπορικών κριτηρίων
