Thanks to the support of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), in July 2008, Togo was able to introduce into the standard Expanded Programme of Immunization the pentavalent vaccine DTC-HepB-Hib against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, hepatitis B and haemophilus influenzae B.

Con el apoyo de la Alianza Mundial para el Fomento de la Vacunación y la Inmunización (GAVI), en julio 2008 el Togo introdujo en el PAI de rutina la vacuna pentavalente DTP-HepB-Hib contra la difteria, la tos ferina, el tétanos, la hepatitis B y la Haemophilus influenzae B.
