وهناك مشروع الإدارة المستدامة للأراضي وأساليب المعيشة في منطقة أعالي وادي ريو جراندي، الذي يقوم بتدريب كثير من النساء والرجال على الإدارة، والذي تم على أثره إعادة تشجير خمسة هكتارات من الأراضي.
