A magnetic tape cartridge (1) including a cartridge case (4) accommodating rotably a single reel (7) on which a magnetic tape (6) having at its end a leader pin (5) secured to the end of the tape for drawing out the magnetic tape is wound, wherein the leader pin (5) has a tape clamp section (51) on which the magnetic tape is wound, a clamp member (55) having a slit extending axially and a C-shaped cross section is fitted elastically on the tape clamp section, the leader pin is secured to the end of the magnetic tape, a sheet member (8) for enhancing the coefficient of friction is interposed at least between the magnetic tape (6) and the tape clamp section (51).

Une pince (55) constituée d'un élément de forme allongée à section en C dont la fente d'ouverture est longitudinale se pose en force à cheval sur la broche, retenant ainsi l'extrémité de la bande magnétique sur la broche. Un élément en surépaisseur (8) venant augmenter le coefficient de friction est disposé entre la bande magnétique (6) et le segment à pincer (51).
