本発明は、離型剤の塗布、脱脂、サンディング、及びプライマー処理等を行わなくとも、表面にメッキ皮膜や塗装皮膜を形成可能な熱硬化性樹脂成形品及びその製造方法を提供する。 本発明では、成形型表面の少なくとも意匠面を形成する領域に、少なくともスチレン系樹脂を溶媒に溶解させた熱可塑性樹脂溶液を塗布する工程と、前記成形型を乾燥させて熱可塑性樹脂皮膜を形成する工程と、前記成形型のキャビティ内に熱硬化性樹脂組成物を射出し、前記熱硬化性樹脂組成物を加熱硬化させることで、表面に前記熱可塑性樹脂皮膜が設けられた熱硬化性樹脂成形品を得る工程とを有する方法により、熱硬化性樹脂成形品を製造する。
