In Nepal, since there are many informal-sector workers who have not had the opportunity to receive school education and do not possess basic occupational skills, the SGRA project focuses mainly on vocational training and literacy education. In addition, life support seminars are held to provide information on such topics as the social security system, household budget improvement, and mutual aid schemes. The SGRA is implemented in four places (two areas in the Bhaktapur district on the outskirts of Kathmandu and two areas in the Parsa district in central Nepal ).

네팔에서는 기초적인 직업기능을 습득하지 않거나 학교교육을 받지 못한 노동자가 많다는 점에서 직업훈련과 식자교육을 중심으로 사업을 전개하고 있다. 특히 사회보장제도, 가계개선, 상호협조제도 등에 대한 정보제공을 위한 생활지원 세미나도 실시하고 있으며, 카트만두 근교인 박타푸르군의 2지역, 중부에 있는 팔사군의 2지역 등 4곳에서 실시하고 있다. 금년도 네팔에서의 사업이 시작됨에 따라 4월 3일~4월11일에 카트만두를 방문하고, 주로 현지 관계자들과 협의와 사업내용조정 등을 실시했다.
