Pursuant to the said Article, the Democratic and Popular Republic of Algeria, which was at that time a member of the Paris Union but had not yet become a party to the WIPO Convention, could, for five years from April 26, 1970, the date of entry into force of the said Convention, exercise the same rights as if it had become party.

De conformidad con el mencionado artículo, la República de Indonesia, que ese momento era miembro de la Unión de París pero todavía no era parte en el Convenio de la OMPI, podrá ejercer durante cinco años, a partir del 26 de abril de 1970, fecha de entrada en vigor del mencionado Convenio, los mismos derechos que si fuese parte en el mismo.
