Zaključci: Broj kolecistektomija u djece trostruko je porastao u posljednjih dvadeset godina, a prosječni BMI operirane djece značajno je veći u posljednjih deset godina u odnosu na prethodno desetogodišnje razdoblje te se može ustanoviti povezanost između sve češće pretilosti u dječjoj populaciji i porasta učestalosti simptomatske kolelitijaze u djece.
