I decided to snorkel for fry with a hand net and this proved to be a very good choice, even in spite of the fact that small Paraneetroplus nebuliferum are not easy to get this way because of their fore-mentioned habit to scatter for protection below the rocks, and the difficulty of handling the net in the current, I could however get enough small individuals to take home, about forty of them.

Así que decidí bucear para coger algunos alevines con una red de mano, lo que resultó ser una buena idea, incluso si las crías de Paraneetroplus nebuliferum no son en absoluto fáciles de coger debido a su costumbre de buscar refugio entre las piedras. A pesar de la dificultad de extender la red con la corriente pude capturar unos cuarenta ejemplares, los suficientes como para llevarlos a casa.
