The method comprises admixing a liquid flocculant to a primary slime and causing settling in a settling tank to give a secondary slime, admixing liquid flocculant to the secondary slime, flocculating the secondary slime, and causing settling to give a tertiary slime, then mutually separating the tertiary slime and water.
