وبالإضافة إلى أحكام الدستور، تخضع المسائل المتعلقة بمجلس القضاء لقانون مجلس القضاء الذي ينص على طريقة الانتخاب وانتهاء مدة ولاية مجلس القضاء، وتنظيم وطريقة تشغيل المجلس، وإجراءات انتخاب القضاة والقضاة غير المحترفين، وإجراءات إنهاء عضويتهم، والمسؤولية التأديبية، وفصل القضاة والقضاة غير المحترفين.

In addition to the provisions of the Constitution the issues related to the Judicial Council are regulated in the Law on Judicial Council which stipulates the manner of election and termination of the term of office of the Judicial Council, the organization and method of operation of the Judicial Council, the procedure for the election of judges and lay judges, the procedure for determining the termination of judicial office, the disciplinary liability and dismissal of judges and lay judges.
