In an embodiment, log-on into the source system (LE1) is accomplished by supplying a user identification and a password corresponding to it, a connection for a remote session is set up via the operation and maintenance center (OMC) to the target system (LE2), the password is checked for correctness in the source and/or target system (LE1, LE2) by comparing the password with the password corresponding to the user identification that has been stored in the source and/or target system.

Dans un mode de réalisation, le procédé consiste à exécuter l'ouverture d'une session dans le système source (LE1) en fournissant une identification utilisateur ainsi qu'un mot de passe correspondant à celle-ci, à établir la connexion pour une session à distance avec le système cible (LE2), par l'intermédiaire du centre de commande et de mise à jour (OMC), et à vérifier l'exactitude du mot de passe dans le système source et/ou cible (LE1, LE2), en comparant le mot de passe avec celui qui correspond à l'identification utilisateur et a été conservé dans le système source et/ou cible.
