El método utilizado en esta investigación fue estudiar la variación de carga eléctrica que se consume en un día seleccionado aleatoriamente, en función de la hora del día, lanzar una curva en un diagrama ‘Demanda x Hora del día’, establecer los momentos pico, valle y el consumo medio y, a partir de estos datos, geometricamente, predecir la viabilidad del uso del potencial energético de los momentos en que la curva está por debajo del promedio para compensar el sistema en los momentos que la curva está por encima del promedio, aproximándose a un umbral.
