A dolgozat rövid áttekintést ad a cseppkő-kormeghatározás eddig alkalmazott módszereiről, részletesen ismerteti a mintavételi technológiát, a cseppkő-minta előkészítését és a szerző által alkalmazott vizsgálatot, mely a fa évgyűrűk és a cseppkő rétegződések ritmusának összehasonlításán alapul.
