The present invention provides a method for producing large quantities of cellulase, comprising the steps of: (a) adding water to pulverized palm by-products, inoculating Aspergillus oryzae, which produces cellulase, and adding a nitrogen source; and (b) carrying out solid state fermentation at 27-33 °C for 2-12 days.
