This might suggest demoralisation, but in reality it reflects the vigour of a society that mocks rigidity steeped in ideology and conquers, or re-conquers, pragmatism.

El sujeto moral se pierde en el “segundo nivel de reglas”[10] (doble moral) que anima una relación cínica sociedad-sociedad y Estado-sociedad, y que recupera, en los que nada tienen que perder porque nada tienen, el comportamiento quínico de la sátira, la burla y el choteo de vieja planta en la cultura cubana. Esto último puede indicar desmoralización, pero en realidad refleja el vigor de una sociedad que se burla de la rigidez ideologizante y conquista o reconquista el pragmatismo.
