καλεί την Επιτροπή να ζητήσει από το Ευρωπαϊκό Δικαστήριο να γνωματεύσει όσον αφορά τις σχετικές με την ΕΕ πτυχές της ενδεχόμενης σύναψης της EPLA από τα κράτη μέλη υπό το πρίσμα των επικαλύψεων μεταξύ EPLA και κοινοτικού κεκτημένου, και να αποσαφηνίσει τον διαδικαστικό ρόλο του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου σε σχέση με την ενδεχόμενη σύναψη της EPLA·

Requests the Commission to ask the European Court of Justice for an opinion on the EU-related aspects of the possible conclusion of the EPLA by Member States in the light of overlaps of the EPLA with the acquis communautaire and to clarify the procedural role of the European Parliament in connection with the possible conclusion of the EPLA;
