Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, has issued the necessary amendment on 15.10.18 that TANGEDCO will be the Solar Power Park Developer (SPPD) instead of TNEB Ltd and SECI will be the Solar Project Developer (SPD).

தமிழ்நாடு மின்சார வாரியத்திற்குப் பதிலாக தமிழ்நாடு மின் உற்பத்தி மற்றும் பகிர்மானக் கழகத்தை சூரிய மின் பூங்கா மேம்பாட்டாளராகவும் (Solar Power Park Developer), மேலும் இந்திய சூரிய மின் சக்தி கழகத்தை (SEC!) சூரிய மின் திட்ட மேம்பாட்டாளராகவும் (Solar Project Developer) மாற்றியமைப்பதற்கான திருத்தம் 15.10.2018 அன்று புதிய மற்றும் புதுப்பிக்கப்படத்தக்க மின்சக்தித் துறையால் முறைப்படி வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
