وقد دعم الصندوق الدولي للتنمية الزراعية منحا تبلغ 8.8 ملايين من الدولارات، وذلك بشكل رئيسي عن طريق مؤسستين رائدتين تابعتين للجامعة وبالتعاون معهما، وهما: المنظمة العربية للتنمية الزراعية والمركز العربي لدراسات المناطق القاحلة والأراضي الجافة.

Grants worth $8.8 million have been supported by IFAD, mainly through and in cooperation with the two leading League institutions: the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, and the Arab Centre for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands.
