The person responsible for furnishing the particulars of birth to the Registrar could be the midwife, nursing sister or nurse in-charge at the time of birth in a public hospital; the mother or father of the child if the birth occurred outside the hospital; occupiers of the house or building in which the child was born; or any person present at the birth of the child (reg. 6–9).

La persona responsable de suministrar los datos sobre el nacimiento ante el Secretario es la partera, la enfermera o la enfermera en jefe del hospital público donde ocurrió el alumbramiento, la madre o el padre del niño si el niño nació fuera del hospital, los residentes de la casa o el edificio donde nació el niño, o cualquier persona presente durante el parto (reglas 6 a 9).
