وتشدد البعثة الخاصة على الحاجة إلى استحداث نظام مناسب لإدارة المخزونات ضمن الأمانة العامة، يشمل سياسة ثابتة في تناوب المخزونات بين البعثات القائمة، وتوصي بأن يدرج الأمين العام، كجزء منتظم من تقاريره المقدمة إلى اللجنة، استعراضا لتأثير عمليات قاعدة الإمدادات على النشر السريع بدون النيل من صلاحية الهيئات المالية بالمنظمة.

The Special Committee stresses the need for the development, within the Secretariat, of an appropriate inventory management system that includes a sound policy for rotating stock to existing missions and recommends that the Secretary-General include, as a regular component of his reports to the Committee, a review of the impact of Logistics Base operations on rapid deployment, without impinging on the competence of the financial bodies of the Organization.

El Comité Especial hace hincapié en la necesidad de elaborar, dentro de la Secretaría, un sistema de gestión de inventario adecuado en que se incluya una política sólida para la rotación de las existencias a las misiones existentes y recomienda que el Secretario General incluya, como componente habitual de sus informes al Comité, un examen del efecto de las operaciones de la Base Logística en el despliegue rápido, sin afectar la competencia de los órganos financieros de la Organización.

Le Comité spécial souligne la nécessité d’élaborer, au sein du Secrétariat, un système de gestion des stocks adapté qui soit établi sur la base d’une politique avisée de rotation des stocks applicable aux missions existantes et recommande que le Secrétaire général mentionne, dans ses rapports au Comité, un examen systématique des conséquences des opérations de la Base de soutien logistique pour le déploiement rapide, sans pour cela empiéter sur la compétence des organes financiers de l’Organisation.

Специальный комитет подчеркивает необходимость внедрения в рамках Секретариата надлежащей системы управления запасами материальных средств, которая предусматривала бы разумную ротацию этих средств в рамках существующих миссий, и рекомендует Генеральному секретарю регулярно включать в его доклады Комитету в качестве раздела анализ влияния работы Базы материально-технического снабжения на быстрое развертывание, не ущемляя прерогатив финансовых органов Организации.
