We rushed out to photograph them and there were a British group of birders with Spanish and Moroccan leaders too photographing them. There were also lots of Rock Buntings (barbara), but Crimson-winged Finches were much more numerous than we had thought – there were about 150 of them!

Säntäsimme ulos niitä kuvaamaan ja kylläpä niitä olikin paljon. Lähes parisataa lintua lenteli vilkkaasti langoilta toisille ja espanjalais- ja marokkolaisornin johtama brittiporukka oli linnuista lähes yhtä haltioissaan kuin mekin. Parven seurassa oli myös kymmeniä kalliovarpusia (barbara).
