The present invention provides a spinning top, which employs a gyroscope to enhance the amusement of playing with a spinning top, and a spinning top play device using the same such that, since the rotating body of the spinning top is not exposed to the outside, the angular momentum of the rotating body can be advantageously maintained for a long period of time even when a collision occurs.
