In order to find new applications for Elhibin, assays of proteolytic activity inhibition were carried out in samples of serum from burned patients with kinetic or punctual behaviours and with alterations of the balance of proteases and their inhibitors and the corresponding discontrol of their physiological processes.

En busca de nuevas aplicaciones para el Elhibin se realizaron ensayos de inhibición de actividad proteolítica en muestras de sueros de pacientes quemados con comportamientos cinéticos o puntuales, de los cuales se conocen que aparecen alteraciones del balance de proteasas y sus inhibidores y el correspondiente descontrol de sus procesos fisiológicos.
