وقال إن التقييم الاكتواري أكد أن الصندوق كان في 31 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2003 في وضع مالي قوي ومتين، وأنه رغم التأثير الضار لتخفيض قيمة الدولار الأمريكي مقابل العملات الرئيسية الأخرى وتطبيق طريقة متوسط القيمة السوقية الخمسية المتغيرة في حساب الأصول، فقد كشف عن فائض قدره 1.14 في المائة من الأجر الداخل في حساب المعاش التقاعدي.

The actuarial valuation as at 31 December 2003 had confirmed that the Fund was in a strong and solid financial position and, in spite of the adverse effect of the devaluation of the United States dollar against other major currencies and the application of the five-year moving market value average method of calculating the assets, had revealed a surplus of 1.14 per cent of pensionable remuneration.

L’évaluation actuarielle, arrêtée au 31 décembre 2003, a confirmé la bonne santé financière de la Caisse; malgré les effets adverses de la dépréciation du dollar des États-Unis vis-à-vis des autres grandes monnaies et de la méthode de calcul de la valeur actuarielle des avoirs (moyenne mobile sur cinq ans de la valeur de réalisation), elle a fait apparaître un excédent représentant 1,14 % de la masse des rémunérations considérées aux fins de la pension.
