The main exported species are the cardinal Paracheirodon axelrodi, the corredoras Corydoras sp. (22 species), the cuchas (32 different species), the otocinclo Otocinclus sp., the tetra neon Paracheirodon innesi, the brilliant tetra Hemigrammus arstrongi and the tetra rodostomo Hemigrammus rhodostomus, which represented more than 70% of the exports of 2002.
