UNPOS will continue to fulfil its main role as key coordinator and facilitator within the United Nations (through the Nairobi Cluster), among the various Somali authorities (via the Somali counter-piracy technical coordination mechanism) and with the international community (through the four working groups of the Contact Group on Piracy off the Coast of Somalia).
