Im Mai 1984 erschien ein ♂Parus montanus im nördlichen Schwarzwald, wo diese Art noch nie als Brutvogel nachgewiesen wurde. 1986 brütete in demselben Revier ein ♀ in einer Nisthöhle, das die Erregungsrufe vonParus palustris wie auch vonP. montanus brachte.

In May 1984 a maleParus montanus was observed in the Northern Black Forest, an area where no breeding records for this species exist. A female breeding on the same territory in 1986 was found to have both the alarm call of the Willow and the Marsh Tit.
