تؤكد من جديد التزام الدول بكفالة الحماية للحق الأصيل في الحياة لجميع الأطفال الخاضعين لولايتها القضائية، من خلال تهيئة بداية آمنة وصحية للحياة بتهيئة سبل الوصول إلى نظم الرعاية الصحية الأولية الفعالة والمنصفة والمتواصلة والمستدامة وكذلك بالقضاء على أوجه التفرقة الجنسانية في التعليم الابتدائي والثانوي؛

Reaffirms the obligation of States to ensure the protection of the inherent right to life of all children under their jurisdiction, by providing a safe and healthy start in life, by providing access to effective, equitable, sustained and sustainable primary health care systems, and by eliminating gender disparities in primary and secondary education;
