In Bonum est’s 138th episode you will hear parts of two services from the Byzantine liturgy before the Fall of Constantinople: the service of three youngsters in the blazing fire (on Sunday before Christmas) and Vespers for Saint Catherine (25th of November).The sources come from the 6th century St. Catherine’s Monastery at the foot of the Sinai (see picture).

In aflevering 138 van Bonum est hoort u delen van twee diensten uit de byzantijnse liturgie van vóór de val van Constantinopel: de dienst van de drie jongelingen in de vuuroven (op de zondag vóór Kerst) en de Vespers voor Sint Catharina (25 november). De bronnen zijn afkomstig uit het Catharina klooster uit de zesde eeuw aan de voet van de Sinai (zie foto).
