تقرر كذلك أن يواصل الفريق العامل المفتوح باب العضوية، في عام # ، النظر في العناصر الواردة في تقرير فريق الخبراء الحكوميين التي يمكن التوصل بشأنها إلى توافق في الآراء لإدراجها في معاهدة ملزمة قانونا قد تبرم في المستقبل بشأن استيراد الأسلحة التقليدية وتصديرها ونقلها تمكن من تحقيق توازن يعود بالنفع على الجميع، على أن تراعى في ذلك مبادئ ميثاق الأمم المتحدة وغيرها من الالتزامات الدولية القائمة، وأن يحيل تقريرا أوليا إلى الجمعية العامة لتنظر فيه في دورتها الرابعة والستين؛

Decides further that the open-ended working group will, during # further consider those elements in the report of the Group of Governmental Experts # where consensus could be developed for their inclusion in an eventual legally binding treaty on the import, export and transfer of conventional arms which provides a balance giving benefit to all, with the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and other existing international obligations at the centre of such considerations, and transmit an initial report from the working group to the General Assembly for consideration at its sixty-fourth session
