As regards the EU funding awarded so far to Sliven's local administration, the municipality is currently the beneficiary of 8 infrastructure projects for a total amount of approximately EUR 54 million (1 ex-ISPA/CF project, 1 Cohesion Fund project under the programme Environment and 6 European Regional Development Fund projects under the programme Regional Development).
