يشكل تقليد "موليتري" الذي يمارس في بعض مناطق الشمال الغربي عقداً يسبق الزواج ويكون مشروطاً بأن يقدم العريس لأسرة العروسة هدية أو وعداً بهدية تتمثل في مبلغ من المال والأبقار، وفقاً لما يُتفق عليه خلال التفاوض: وغالباً ما يحدد مقدار الهبة بالوضع الاجتماعي للعروس وكذلك بعمرها وحُسنِها.

Moletry, which is practised in some places in the north-west of the country, is a form of premarital arrangement involving a dowry or the promise of a dowry (Moletry) from the future husband to the bride’s family and made up of a sum of money and cattle, depending on the agreement reached during negotiations; the value of the dowry is frequently determined by the social status of the future bride, as well as by her age and looks.

Le«Moletry», pratiqué dans certaines localités du Nord-Ouest, consiste en un contrat de pré-mariage conditionné par la donation ou la promesse de donation (Moletry) faite par le futur époux à la famille de l’épouse, constituée d’une somme d’argent et de bovidés, selon ce qui est convenu durant les négociations: la valeur de la donation est souvent déterminée en fonction du statut social de la future épouse et aussi de l’âge et de la beauté.

Практика "молетри" существует в ряде населенных пунктов на северо-западе страны; она предусматривает заключение добрачного контракта, условием которого является передача или обязательство по передаче будущим супругом семье невесты выкупа ("молетри") в виде денежной суммы или поголовья скота, в зависимости от договоренности, достигнутой на переговорах; размер выкупа зачастую определяется в зависимости от социального статуса будущей супруги, ее возраста и внешности.
