Up to 1949 the society provide schooling or assisted in the schooling of some sixteen thousand pupils and students, including writer Ivo Andrić and chemist Vladimir Prelog, well-known recipients of the Nobel Prize, and many other painters, poets and others whose lives and work have contributed significantly to the cultural and scientific heritage of this region.

Hasta 1949, la Asociación educó o ayudó a escolarizar a cerca de 16000 estudiantes, entre ellos al escritor Ivo Andrić, o al químico Vladimir Prelog, conocidos ganadores del Premio Nobel, y a muchos otros pintores, poetas y otros que, a lo largo de su vida y su obra, hicieron un aporte fundamental a la herencia cultural y científica de esta región.
