On 28 November, Prime Minister Augustin Matata Ponyo presented his views on the Government’s handling of the security situation in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, including a summary of major events in the previous six months in North Kivu, renewed accusations of Rwandan involvement and gratitude for the support of the international community.
