This document pretends to demonstrate that even though the Inter-American Human Rights System offers the guaranties, instruments and mechanisms to effectively protect the labor rights, in the sentences of the Inter-American Court and in the annual reports of the Inter-American Commission is patent that they give just a tangential treatment to this rights.

Con el presente escrito se pretende demostrar que a pesar de que el Sistema Interamericano de Derechos Humanos ofrece garantías, mecanismos e instrumentos para la efectiva protección de derechos laborales, en la jurisprudencia de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos y en los informes de la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos se evidencia un tratamiento apenas tangencial de los mismos.
