Imaging studies included Computarized Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), which showed the compression and sings of chronic cervical myelophathy. These findings were confirmed with the preoperative Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP) study of the median nerve.
