According to the digital color monitor and its calibration method of the present invention, since a white balance of a brightness characteristic curve 40 is adjusted after the brightness characteristic curve 40 outputting an image closest to a standard screen is selected while a standard image is inputted into and displayed on a monitor, a deviation occurring when the same image is displayed on different monitors may be prevented and the reliability of an ultrasound device may be improved.

본 발명에 따른 디지털 컬러모니터 및 그 캘리브레이션 방법에 따르면, 모니터에 표준 영상을 입력하여 디스플레이되도록 한 상태에서 가장 표준 화면에 가까운 영상을 출력하는 명도특성곡선(40)을 선택한 후, 명도특성곡선(40)의 화이트밸런스를 조절하므로, 동일한 영상을 서로 다른 모니터에서 디스플레이할 때 편차가 발생되는 것을 방지할 수 있으며, 초음파 검사장치의 신뢰도를 향상시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다.
