The day following the ceremony of beatification, on May 26, 1957, Pope Pius XII summarized, in a speech, the essence of the message left by Sister Mary of Providence: "Whoever acts thus in a manner devoid of all personal interest and selfishness, and consecrates himself to the universal work of redemption, will know, like Mary of Providence, the suffering and the travail, but also the invincible security of those who are established on the strength of God Himself and await with humble confidence the hour of endless triumph: In te Domine speravi, non confundar in aeternum; in Thee, O Lord, I have hoped, let me never be put to confusion (Psalm 70: 1)."

Au lendemain de la cérémonie de béatification, le 26 mai 1957, le Pape Pie XII résumait dans une allocution l'essentiel du message laissé par soeur Marie de la Providence: «Quiconque poursuit ainsi le dépouillement de tout intérêt personnel et de tout égoïsme, et se consacre sans réserve à l'oeuvre rédemptrice universelle, connaîtra, comme Marie de la Providence, la souffrance et l'épreuve, mais aussi l'invincible sécurité de qui s'est établi sur la force de Dieu même et attend avec une humble confiance l'heure du triomphe sans fin: In te Domine speravi, non confundar in aeternum; c'est en vous, Seigneur, que je cherche mon refuge; que mon espoir ne soit jamais déçu (Ps 70, 1)».
