Los turistas en el centro de Cartagena son bien "protegidos", de un lado por los precios altos en los restaurantes, en los bares y en otros locales, así ningún colombiano local va a ir por allá para hacer sus fiestas, pero de otro lado también por una presencia eterna de la policía en el centro, en cada rincón y siempre están patrullando, y en cada esquina hay un guardián para simular una "protección completa" al turista.
