(2) In this press release on the 24th of August 2009, NESDB narrows down the range of growth projection to (-3.5) – (-3.0), as the probability of the Thai economy to grow in the range of (-3.5) – (-3.0) percent tends is much greater than that of (-3.0) – (-2.5) percent in lieu of shaper-than-expected fall in exports, private consumption and investment in the first half of the year which had led to severe contraction of the overall economy during that period.
